Welcome to the 2024 Winter Season. We are looking forward to welcoming back our HSH players, and getting to meet new players, teams and coaches this season. We have some exciting programs & events running in Term 2 and in the upcoming School Holidays. See what's on below.
Weekly Premier Pick-up Games
Join us at weekly Heart & Soul Hoops Premier Pick-up Scrimmage games @ Redfield College. Premier Pick-up is a scrimmage games service where players can build confidence to apply new skills in game situations. This is a platform where you can bring as many of your friends as you want to play against one another in a fun but competitive environment where you will also receive feedback on your game after being assessed by the coaches. We welcome all playing levels to Premier Pick-up.

Holiday Invitational Camps
Heart & Soul Hoops is running invitational camps in order to reach the most talented players across Sydney. Our cristeria for inviting players is based on talent, athelticism, and mindset. We encourage players at the development level and high-performance level to attend this event.
About the Event
The Heart & Soul Hoops’ July Intensive is a 5-day accelerated basketball training event for boys & girls. The July Intensive is an INVITATION-ONLY event designed to upskill & empower players and coaches of all levels. The July Intensive includes game-changing on-court clinics, off-court mindset & team-building workshops, competition games, fitness testing, take home programs, and a coaches certification course.
You will train & play with like-minded players, who are keen get to the next level of their game faster & build a stronger mindset. You will learn from professional coaches how to execute under pressure and win more games. You will leave with improved skills, increased confidence and greater competitive edge to stand out this season. Get the tools that you need to be successful this season.
Player Nominations
Partnered Programs (Clubs & Schools) and Coaches can nominate their players to attend the July Intensive. The nomination period runs from 5 June - 5 July. We are hosting a 2-week tryout period in mid-June.
If you are without a nomination, we encourage players are to tryout at Premier Pick-up.
What if I'm not nominated? Can I still attend?
Yes, players who are keen to attend the camp must first register their interest and attend a FREE Premier Pick-up session running in Term 2. This gives HSH coaches the chance to assess the player, and allows the player to practice & upskill his game. In mid-June, players can tryout for the camp to receive an offical nomination from Heart & Soul Hoops. The tryout period runs from 15 June - 29 June.

The Girls Club is a year-round premium development program for girls. The Girls Club is designed to engage & empire girls through sport with professional coaching & a higher level training experience. The Girls Club is flexible for your schedule and for girls of all training levels to develop your skills & fundamentals in weekly clinics. Get more game experience and build confidence to apply your new skills in game-like situations.

June Coaching Clinic
Transform your coaching this season! Heart & Soul Hoops is running monthly coaching clinics. HSH Coaching Clinics include on-court training, off-court workshops and take home programs. Our next Coaching Clinic is Saturday (8 June) @ Redfield College from 9:30 am - 3:30 pm. Our mission is to help your team achieve its full potential & to help you win more games. HSH Coaching Clinics are designed to help coaches with years of experience to parent-volunteers who have zero coaching experience. So no matter where you are in your coaching journey, we are here to help!
How does it work?
HSH Coaching Clinics include a compulsory coaching certification course for all HSH coaches & partnered Club coaches. Certified coaches are eligible for future coaching gigs in the School Holidays & the School term. We encourage parents, volunteers and student-players (15+ years old) to attend to build knowledge & experience, as well as receive on-going support from HSH this season!
