Strength training is vital for players who want to take their game to the next level. Whether you’re just starting out or you’ve been training forever, you probably need to build strength in one or more of the following areas: upper body, lower body, core. Try basketball superset exercises to accelerate your strength & conditioning. Combine a basketball exercise and a bodyweight strength exercise to increase the intensity of your training session. These superset workouts are short, effective, and for all training levels. 

What is a superset?

A superset is a form of strength training in which you quickly move from one exercise to a separate exercise without taking a break for rest in between the two exercises. This is a fantastic way to build strength because supersets also allow you to increase the intensity of your workout by overloading a muscle.

Include basketball supersets in your training routine
In order to be game-ready, players must train through fatigue in order to improve their technique & form. The benefits of supersets are that they save time by reducing the rest interval between two intervals. Shortening the rest period between sets will increase the intensity by performing more work in less time!
